Glenrinnes, located in Moray, is the stunning landscape that stretches from Dufftown to Glenlivet. In the heart of whisky country, the area also hosts its a gin & vodka distillery, livestock & field sports though Glenrinnes Estate, access to fantastic hiking trails, and is close to the beautiful town of Dufftown.
The area sits at the base of Ben Rinnes mountain. This Corbett, with an elevation of an impressive 840m, is popular with hillwalkers. It’s clear path to the top rewards walkers with stunning views over the eight counties. At the very heart of the area, stands Glenrinnes Community Centre. A hive of activity with weekly Coffee Mornings, monthly Big Breakfasts, and lots of seasonal events. The space is an integral part of Glenrinnes life, connecting a scattered community in a warm & safe space with company, chatter and lots of cuppas!

The Estate, encompassing vast stretches of untamed wilderness offers ample opportunities for outdoor exploration. Hiking trails wind through and over moors offering stunning views and wildlife from wild deer to pheasant and grouse.

And Glenrinnes isn’t without Stlacond’s most famous export – Whisky. Allt-a-Bhainne Distillery is situated next to the Community Center. Founded in 1975, the now Pernod Ricard owned distillery does not bottle on site, but the spirit produced there is the main ingredient of Chivas Regal blended Whisky.
Nearby Dufftown is a fantastic place to explore. From it’s Clocktower, and Victorian listed buildings, to the wonderful cosy cafe’s, shops and restaurants. It holds regular farmer’s markets, and community events, as well as their annual Highland Games.
